CRAIOVITA-9 vs Dinamo Tulcea was a league match played on 3 May 2014 at the PRIMITIVII Arena, Dolj, România. It was Dinamo Tulcea's first league defeat at the hands of FC CRAIOVITA-9 (former F.C. BOURENI CITY) in 7 meetings.

Match report

12000 spectators arrived at PRIMITIVII Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Salustiano Areas was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jordane Baudry and Eise Decheiver.

CV9 decided to use a 4–3–3 set up. The following players had been chosen: Tebas - Ødegaard, Kapus, Pielas, Plaśny - Roxas Sotolongo, Sleman, Grière - Cianci, Cozma, Gál.

Dinamo tactics involved an interesting 5–3–2 combination. Starters: Paskum - Detlefsen, Cobby, Beichler, Bolsi, Kivisalu - Bercea, Niokane, Tudurean - Dănilă, Negoiţă.

First half

CV9 used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. CV9 had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. André Ødegaard caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 3 minutes. This gave CV9 the 1–0 lead. Dinamo's Marko Detlefsen got himself booked for a foul. CV9 were forced into a substitution as Dénes Gál couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing Răzvan Andrei to come in off the bench. Some things can only be learned through experience, and André Ødegaard should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting Dinamo a goal with 12 minutes of the match played. CV9's Rolando Cianci saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 32 minutes. CV9's Fryderyk Plaśny had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 34 minutes having been played. Sorin Bănuţ was the replacement. 1–0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by CV9, with 62 percent of the ball.

Second half

The visitors' Ciprian Tudurean was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 1–1 after 56 minutes. They were singing the praises of Gyula Kapus 57 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 2–1 to CV9. Coming through the middle Ion-Aurel Bercea almost scored the equaliser for Dinamo after 62 minutes, but Diego Tebas made an excellent save, tipping the awkward curled shot past the post. An equalising goal seemed certain after 69 minutes when Ciprian Tudurean attacked down the left wing, but Diego Tebas just managed to make a save to keep the ball out of the net. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for CV9, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in CV9's Gabi Cozma increasing the lead to 3–1. CV9 had most of the ball, with 62 percent of possession.

CV9's top performer was clearly Rolando Cianci. However, Jérôme Grière made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Dinamo player was without a doubt Ciprian Tudurean. Cristian Negoiţă was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3–1.
