Madagascar (Madagasikara in Malagasy, Madagascar in French, the second official language) is an African country. It was the 138th nation to join the Hattrick World.
The Republic of Madagascar is the world's second-largest island country with 592 800 km2 (228 900 sq mi). Its capital and largest city is Antananarivo. Madagascar is a biodiversity hotspot; over 90% of its wildlife is found nowhere else on Earth.The local monarchy ended in 1897 when the island was absorbed into the French colonial empire, from which the island gained independence in 1960.
History
- Malagasy league has existed since June 2020. It was one of the four new leagues created before global season 75.
