== History ==

Sometimes before, there was a competition envolving teams from Nordeste, but only the regional champions(the winners of the league of each region). This competition just happened once, and was forgotten.

So, the president of the [[Federação do Nordeste]], [[Wyclef007]], decided to take back the tradition, and started to organize the return of the competition.At this time, the cup envolves a bigger variety of teamsn, not only the regional champions.
