Secondary Skills are important attributes in your players if you want to build a great team.
Passing
Inner midfielders need the most of it. A good inner midfielder must have a good playmaking skill. A better one would have good stamina also, but the NT-level players are the ones who also have good passing skill.
Both wingers and forwards also benefit from the passing skill. It improves their star ratings and attacking ratings.
Advantages of having high passing within your midfielders, wingers (wing backs also, but to a less level) and forwards:
