The Oceanian National Champion is the term given to the team who defeated the previous Oceanian National Champion.
Background
A long time ago, someone on the OC worked out who the Oceanian National Champion (ONC) was. The way they determined the ONC was by taking the first match in Oceania between human controlled teams, with the winner being declared the first ONC. The very next team who was to defeat that team became the new ONC and so on.
At some point, Cyntech wrote a CHPP program to calculate the ONC by following the winning team of each match, starting with the first winner. It has since not been used.
The current ONC is not known.
