FC Lutjeboys is een Nederlandse voetbalclub uit Lutjegast, een klein dorpje met slechts 1000 inwoners in West-Groningen. De traditionele kleuren van de club zijn Donkerrood en donkerblauw. Het logo en de thuistenue's bevestigen deze kleuren andermaal. Ook in het stadion, dat pas is uitgebreidt van 24.000 plaatsen naar 32.000 plaatsen, komen de kleuren terug.
[[Real Lutjegast]] (also known as FC Lutjeboys) is a Dutch footballclub from Lutjegast, a small village with only 1000 inhabitants in Western [[Groningen]]. Op 09-04-2008 werd [[FC Lutjeboys]] opgericht. Momenteel speelt het in de zevende divisie en is de club bezig met z'n 8ste seizoen in het betaalde voetbal.
Het team begon in de IX.449 en eindigde daarin als 4e. Een prima debuutseizoen voor de coach en zijn mannen. Helaas ging het daarna bergafwaarts en eindigde de club het seizoen daarop als laatste. Toen de club in de laagste divisie terechtkwam X.3219 kende het echter een wederopstanding en verloor het slechts 1 duel van de veertien wat rechtstreekse promotie betekende. Gerold van den Brakel kroonde zich tot plaatselijke held door liefst elf keer te scoren. Daarmee won hij de topscorerstitel. De club kwam in het 4e seizoen terecht in de IX.1466 waarin het voor de tweede maal achtereen kampioen werd. Ditmaal ongeslagen. Er werd alleen gelijkgespeeld tegen vv tjappie. 
Inmiddels speelde de ploeg in de 8ste divisie {[[VIII.1170 (Nederland)|VIII.1170]]} waarin de club een prima debuut maakte: een verdienstelijke 4de plaats. Ook het volgende seizoen presteert Lutjeboys naar behoren en eindigt als derde. Het hoogtepunt was echter de promotie naar de zevende divisie van Nederland met een prachtseizoen: Lutjeboys werd eerste door alle wedstrijden te winnen met de doelcijfers 79 voor en slechts 4 (!) tegen. Daarbovenop won Helmantel de topscorerstitel met 15 doelpunten en was het feest compleet.

Introduction

Real Lutjegast (also known as FC Lutjeboys) is a Dutch footballclub from Lutjegast, a small village with only 1000 inhabitants in Western Groningen. The traditional colors of the club are dark-red and dark-blue. The colors of the logo and homekit's confirm this. Also in the stadium, which has 60.000 places, the colors come back. Dominique de Kok is the only player left in the Hall of Fame from the team that started as FC Lutjeboys in April 2008.
