Participate in one tournament (season) and get the opportunity to win the H.M.N.O. cup, participate in a phase and get the chance to win the community shield every three seasons, and a top club trophy at the end of every phase. The shields and top club awards are point based, hence, depends on how the club has fared throughout each season. If your club is truly gifted and wins three H.M.N.O. tournaments in a span of 12 seasons, a Treble Trophy is awarded. Furthermore, at the end of two phases (each phase lasting six seasons), a H.M.N.O. Cup Winners Cup is held for clubs that have won silverware during their run, also invited are clubs that have amassed enough points throughout the 12 seasons. In conjunction with the club awards, there are also individual accolades that players as well as managers can win...So, welcome to the H.M.N.O. tournament. </font>

Every three seasons in the H.M.N.O tournament there are two champions crowned. There is a season champion which is crowned annually, as well as a community shield winner. The community shield is sort of a marathon award given to the club that accumulates the most points in a three season span. We have a few clubs vying for the honors this season; which I'm sure will make for a very interesting third season. So, as usual good luck to all 32 participants.

The H.M.N.O. Cup winners Cup will work in conjunction with the H.M.N.O. treble cup. The two cups will be awarded after the 12th season.
 
The H.M.N.O. Cup winners Cup tournament will consist of seasonal cup winners, community shield winners, top club winners and top ranked point earner(s) for phases I and II combined. The C.W.C. will be invitational, and barring any unforeseen circumstances will consist of single elimination round matches, with two rounds per week being played.

There is a wide variety in terms of skill, from the up and comers, as in my club the WC Oldboys, to good clubs, as well as impressive clubs, and the scary to look at clubs. Obviously during this two month tournament we'll be witness to some one sided matches, as well as tough, heart fought ones and what I'm hoping for some gut wrenching nail biting affairs. The H.M.N.O. Top Club trophy will be awarded to the club with the most points overall in a six season period. Hattrick Manager Network Open. Register to play in the H.M.N.O. tournament and get automatically re-invited for the next season, don’t want to participate every season in a phase then go to the in-game hattrick manager network module and join to get re-invited at the start of every new season. Participate in one tournament (season) and get the opportunity to win the H.M.N.O. cup, participate in a phase and get the chance to win the community shield every three seasons, and a top club trophy at the end of every phase. The shields and top club awards are point based, hence, depends on how the club has fared throughout each season. If your club is truly gifted and wins three H.M.N.O. tournaments in a span of 12 seasons, a Treble Trophy is awarded. Furthermore, at the end of two phases (each phase lasting six seasons), a H.M.N.O. Cup Winners Cup is held for clubs that have won silverware during their run, also invited are clubs that have amassed enough points throughout the 12 seasons. Overview

The Hattrick Manager Network Open is a tournament based primarily on the Hattrick Manager Network. In 06/05/2014 Hattrick.org introduced to all hattrick users The Manager Network, a means for managers to keep track of teams and managers they care about. It gives you the option to invite any user to join your Network. In my view, a very good way to start a friendship. It also gives the users a quick way to scan what teams in your Network are up to. Most importantly by introducing the Network Hattrick wants to lay the foundation for a more connected and fun experience. In the end helping to improve the design of the game and navigation of the site.

H.M.N.O. Cup Winners Cup

The H.M.N.O. Cup winners Cup will work in conjunction with the H.M.N.O. treble cup. The two cups will be awarded after the 12th season. The H.M.N.O. Cup winners Cup tournament will consist of seasonal cup winners, community shield winners, top club winners and top ranked point earner(s) for phases I and II combined. The C.W.C. will be invitational, and barring any unforeseen circumstances will consist of single elimination round matches, with two rounds per week being played.

The H.M.N.O. Community Shield is awarded to the club that accrues the most points within 3 seasons in the H.M.N.O. top ten ranking system.

H.M.N.O. Top Club Recipient

The H.M.N.O. Top Club trophy will be awarded to the club with the most points overall in a six season period. It is the acme of the tournament, on average a minimum of 18 and maximum of 42 matches per club will have been played to decide the overall winner. After the final season, the overall points and Shield points for clubs will be given a clean slate.

H.M.N.O. Treble Winners / Cup Winners Cup

The elusive H.M.N.O. Treble Winners Cup goes to the club(s) that win three H.M.N.O. Championship Seasons. The H.M.N.O. Treble Cup is no doubt one of the grandeur of achievements in the Hatrick Masters Network Open.

The H.M.N.O. Cup winners Cup will take precedence over the H.M.N.O. treble cup only if there are no takers for the treble cup after the 12th season.

Current Rules and Format

Current Format:
a) 32 club round robin, 8 groups of 4 clubs.
b) Top two point earners of each group advance.
c) Round of 16 knock-out stage.
d) Round of 8 (Quarter Finals) knock-out stage.
e) Round of 4 (Semi Finals) knock-out stage.
f) H.M.N.O. Final match.
Determining 3rd & 4th spot ranking:
a) Superior number of points obtained in matches.
b) Superior goal difference.
c) Superior number of goals scored.
d) Superior number of wins.
e) Penalty shoot-out winners get 2 points, defeated get 1 point.
Determining Man of the Tournament (MoT) and Top Scorer respectively.
Criteria a) If 2 or more player's are tied for MoT, it goes to the player who's club has most wins.
Criteria ai) Player who's club has a superior goal difference.
b) For Top Scorer, Hattrick ranking system will be used.
Determining The Diamond Glove Award (Implemented in Phase II season 11).
The diamond glove will go to the keeper that has accumulated the most points in a season. Keepers will receive 1 point for shutouts or conceding no more than 1 goal per match. Criteria if two or more keepers have the same amount of points at the end of the season.
Criteria a) The keeper with the most shutouts.
Criteria ai) The club with the most wins.
Criteria aii)Total points for season.
Criteria aiii)Goal difference.
Regarding the Maestro Award , and the Seasonal Manager Award .
a) These two awards will be decided at the quarter finals stage of the tournamnet.
Top 10 clubs. Regarding, OR & CSR for combined H.M.N.O. seasons.
a) Wins, 3 points, regardless of penalty shoot-out.
b) Draws, 1 point.
c) Losses 0 points, regardless of penalty shoot-out.
d) Rank sharing for clubs at equal points. Verify section below if at equal points.
e) CSR - Community Shield Ranking. CSR point system renews after Shield is awarded.
ei) OR - Overall Ranking. OR point system renews after 6 seasons.
Criteria regarding a points deadlock in the Community Shield and/or Top Club Trophy.
Criteria a) Most wins.
Criteria b) The club with the most stars. (a star is given per season to the club that has advanced the furthest in the tournament.)
Criteria c) At managers discretion, a bypass of criteria 1 & 2 will be accepted on the grounds that single(s) match(es) will be organized between clubs involved to determine the winner.
Criteria d) If non of the criteria are met, the shield will be shared by the clubs.
Treble Winners Cup / Cup Winners Cup
a) The Cup is awarded to any club that is crowned season champion on 3 occasions.
b) The H.M.N.O. Cup winners Cup tournament will consist of seasonal cup winners, community shield winners, top club winners and top ranked point earner(s) for phases I and II combined. The C.W.C. will be invitational, and barring any unforeseen circumstances will consist of single elimination round matches, with two rounds per week being played.
