Knighthood FC was a club in the USA, based in New York. It was founded on 13 May 2014.
History
Debut Season and Promotion to V.207
Knighthood FC enjoyed a successful debut season. On 2 June 2014, an 85th-minute winner from Michael Denuelle gave 1st-place Knighthood a valuable 2-1 win over 2nd-place Amarillo Titans at Rasmus Drakskog Memorial Stadium. The following week Knighthood won the reverse fixture 2-0, widening the gap from Titans to 9 points. Knighthood finished the season with a 2-1 away loss, its only loss of the season, to American Centaur.
Knighthood FC was promoted to division V.207. After a 3-0 loss to Droghte of March in the first round of the U.S. Open Cup, a 1-0 loss to FC BärnCH followed in the opening fixture of the season. On 21 August, Knighthood was eliminated from the Voyager Cup in the second round, following a 2-0 defeat to FC Deez. The club's first league victory of the season came on 15 September, a 3-2 home win against Hooders. On 19 October, a 7-0 loss to league leaders RIP Wetherby Park confirmed that Knighthood would finish the season in the bottom two and thus be automatically relegated. Knighthood finished the season in 7th place with a 6-0 win over FC BärnCH.
Later Seasons
The following season, Knighthood joined division VI.716. On 8 February 2015, with 3 games to go, the club officially won the league, having an 11-point advantage at that point and a goal record of 105-0. Knighthood finished the season with a goal record of 134-0 and with eight players finishing in the league's top 10 scorers.
Knighthood was promoted to V.118, once again being considered an underdog. However, a 1-1 draw with BroncosFC on the last day of the season ensured a 4th place finish and another season in the series. On 28 August 2016, Knighthood clinched the title after a 2-2 draw with 3rd-place Scalars. The resulting point meant that the club had a 7-point lead over 2nd-place BL00M1NG with only two fixtures remaining in the season. On 18 September though, Knighthood FC lost 0-2 to Holder FC in a qualification match and was not promoted the fourth tier. Knighthood was crowned champions of the league once again the following season but again failed to win the qualification match, this time losing 0-4 to Boothill Graveyard.
