The Copa do Nordeste or Nordestão is a brazillian friendly cup organized by the Federação do Nordeste. Actually ongoing the first edition of the cup.
History
Sometimes before, there was a competition envolving teams from Nordeste, but only the regional champions(the winners of the league of each region). This competition just happened once, and was forgotten.
So, the president of the Federação do Nordeste, Wyclef007, decided to take back the tradition, and started to organize the return of the competition.At this time, the cup envolves a bigger variety of teamsn, not only the regional champions.
