Voorruit Vooruit is just a regular club in Hattrick, it has achieved nothing special. After a few years of avoiding the transfer market, in the summer of 2010 the club made a plan to train all it's future players in the youth squad and not have any incoming transfers at all.
History
In May 2003 Voorruit Vooruit was founded as S.V. Zuidzande. On December 26th 2005 it was renamed Voorruit Vooruit, which means Windscreen Go Ahead. It is a regular club and between 2003 an 2007 it climbed from divison VII to division V and had two good cup runs, reaching rounds 8 and 7. In 2007 the manager was transfering less and less, the last transfer was made in December 2007. After that the manager developped an apathy of the transfer market. The squad was getting older and older and by the summer of 2010 all but 2 players were over 30.
Apathy of the transfer market by the manager remained, so he made a plan to revive the squad with youth players. As a temporary measure some rubbish players were pulled between May and September 2010. On September 30th 2010 the youth club Voorruit Met De Geit (Windscreen With The Goat, derived from the Dutch expression let's go with the goat) was founded. This youth club will supply Voorruit Vooruit with all it's future players. A very long term trainig plan was set up, so freshly promoted players fit in the training schedule and are trained until they are good enough to play official matches for the first team.
Since no incoming transfers will be made and in fall 2010 the squad is still full of 32 to 38-year-old players, this means the club will have quite a long period with a complete lack of results. In the long term the goal is to be competitive again. At the time of writing (October 2010) the club hasn't transferred any player in almost 3 years. After the promotion of the first youth squad players there will probably be outgoing transfers again.
