Football Club London Unets is a club in the USA, based in New York. It currently resides in USA's Division VI, the country's bottom division, which they won in season 39, but couldn't get promoted. Since then, the club has been battling for the first place in the division, however unsuccessful.

The club's youth team, Young Unets, plays in the MLS ALL STAR 11. Just like the senior team, the youth team is in the top of the table lately.

History

Successful Debut

Season 39 was the club's best one so far, league-wise. Unets were eliminated on the 1st round of the US Open Cup after a 2-4 loss to GO Fort Worth. On the first fixture of the season, the club's frustration grew after a 0-1 loss to Vibe Tribe. However, the team's next loss came 3 weeks later, after 2 wins of 8-0 and 6-1. Unets then had a 2-month winning streak, which was stopped by a 0-1 loss to wilmette. The next game was the season's last, which London won 3-0. London finished the season in first place, and Tracy Shafer was the league's top goalscorer with 15 goals. The club's next game was a qualifying game, which London had to win in order to be promoted to the next league. London lost 1-7 to Requin Lezard and thus failed to get to the next league.

US Open Cup

Although the club is at the top of the league's table since season 39, the club's first, FC London Unets is having very little success in the US Open Cup. The club's best result was in season 43, when they beat Shadowrain FC 4-0 to qualify to the second round. They were eliminated then after a 0-5 loss to Kenienii.

Season 43

On August 16, 2010, London's first fixture of the league was a 1-2 away loss to Dynamo Seneca. Since then, however, they were undefeated in the league. At the start of the season's second half, Dynamo Seneca, who are currently first place and were 3 points clear of second-place London, drew 2-2 against Polonia Hicksville. Unets won their match 5-0 against Gwood Ballers, and thus lessened the gap from Dynamo to just 1 point.
