Wouldn't work -- if you look at the contributions, this was a single vandalism spree that will probably not be repeated from the same IP. | |||
I'm not sure what (if anything) Wikipedia does to counteract this sort of thing. A first step might be to require a valid login to edit. Maybe some sort of policing could be done, too, but that would actually require admins spend time going through applications, which might or might not be more bother than the current vandalism patrol. | |||
