While spending most of their time in the lower divisions, The club initially focused on training defending during its entire existence on the league. King Sue Ham FC played their home games at the Adobe Pit Arena, The team and arena is owned and controlled by King Sue Ham and Sausages Company. The ground and stands are geographically inside Kalookan City with only a few blocks to the border of Manila, the country's Capital. Overview
Sausage King YFC is the youth team of King Sue Ham FC. The club maintains a Youth Academy to foster and nurture the growth of future players. Several players have already graduated from the academy, while most of them had the fortune of developing their talents elsewhere, a few has stayed behind. It is the hope of the club that they will come back soon. Some of the products of the YA were Joserey Gabrillo, Renante Porter and Romel Tengco who are now in different parts of the world, while Mark Itaas, the star keeper of the Sausage King FC, is now part of the senior squad.
The youth team plays their home games at the Tandang Sora Park. It is coached by Luduvico Handog.
Players To Watch
Mark Itaas is the current Pilipinas U-20 Keeper. straight from the Hamsters Acadamy, Mark Itaas has shown promise early on in his football career. He was promoted at 17 years old in the senior squad and has been the stating GK of the Hamsters ever since. He is very intelligent between the sticks and he continues to improve tremendously with continued exposure in international competitions.
It is also interesting to note that 2 other youth academy passed over him before being recruited for the Sausage King YFC.
Future Plans
The club hopes to stay in the Div III of the Philipinas Football League for 5 consecutive seasons and then make a push for promotions. At that time, the club hopes to have a 50000 seating capacity stadium (at the Adobe Pit Arena), have at least 5 home-grown players in the starting lineup and secured a player with international cap experience.
