Tournament format

• - Every tenth tournament will be played with 16 teams, instead of the regular 8.
• - The tournament starts with eight or sixteen teams, divided into two or four groups of four.
• - Teams will play each other one time in the group stage.
• - From each group, the two teams with the most points, qualify for the semi finals or quarter finals.
• - The winners of the semi finals will play for the gold medal in the final.
• - The team that lost the semi-final against the champion, will be ranked as third and receives the bronze medal.
• - After 80 editions, The Southbrook Tournament will change the format. Edition 81 will be the first with a 64 team single match knock-out tournament.
• - The matches will be played from Monday till Saturday between 18:00 and 18:59.
• - Every week there will be a tournament, you can subscribe for the tournament every wednesday till the slots are filled.
