The VI Friendly Cup started as a brainfart somewhere in the middle of the 57th season, as a way for lower ranked people to have a cuptournament where you can actually compete with the other users, as the difference in ratings shouldn't be alarmingly high, not taking into account exceptions of people who fell unlucky from the V.
The first season seems to be an overwhelming succes, with 20 people who wanted to participate, but with teams later asking to be a part. Each team got drawn into 4 poules, and after setting up the matches, we saw a lot of friendly banter, which made the VIFC a topic full of activity, with double the posts in the same time of the NT Toto.
