I have been trying to complete [[Template:Qif|a similar Template]] to the Template:Qif on Wikipedia. This would implement the '''if-then-else''' operator, allowing the use of logic on some Templates and adding a great level of flexibility to the Wiki. I have replicated the Wikipedia templates system (Qif, Boolnot, Show1 and If are there), but for some reason, it does not work. Yes it is a good idea indeed, so it makes it easier to know how to start writing on that article. Can they get you to an edit page where some text is already provided - they would be also a template, but not a parameter one but one that provides an skeleton? Ok, I think on this wiki some work could be done regarding this issue. In my opinion the use a strong template system would increase the usability and maintainability of the wiki greatly, and by adopting it earlier some effects can be prevented. It might imply a lot of effort by some people at first, but I am sure everyone will benefit greatly in the long run. But I am no expert at templates, and I think it should take some discussion about it before going any further. So, if you have any ideas, you feel confident to take on this project or you have interest on this, please go on and make a comment! :) --duno7 19:17, 26 November 2005 (UTC)
