three reasons why you would take a Defensive minded coach:

1) Playing CA with defensive coach is more effective.

2) better team exp with "ordinary" tactics (means using 3 defenders). With 3 defenders its more effective to use a defensive minded coach.

3) able to boost your defence ratings, so if you lose a game, the loss would be small, so it wouldn't affect confidence, sponsors and supporters

one reason not to:

1) If you train defense, the odds are that your defending ability does not need to be boosted, however your attack does
