'''Calvert''' is the manager of '''Niagara Rapids FC''', currently in IV.58 in the [[United States]]. He started playing the game on 26 February 2004 and was initally placed in V.76. The team was first called the West Amherst Crusaders. They were renamed Æthelmearc AC at the conclusion of Season 25 upon their promotion back to D.V and were once again renamed at the beginning of Season 35 in a marketing campaign meant to coincide with the combination of their franchise in [http://www.hockeyarena.net/index.php Hockey Arena]. They play at the '''Niagara Falls Convention Centre''', an 82,000-seat facility located in downtown [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niagara_Falls%2C_New_York Niagara Falls]  in the [[New York|Upstate New York]] region.

In real life, Calvert is a former US Army sergeant in the military intelligence field, serving from 1981 to 1990. In 2001 he retired from the US Postal Service and is permanently disabled. He has been involved in the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Society_for_Creative_Anachronism Society for Creative Anachronism] since 1984. He was also the commissioner of the [[Champions League|Hattrick Simulated Champions League]] as well as Vice President (or as he prefers, President of Vice) of the [[Gathering of the Adirondacks League]].
The Texas Consortium is the largest and 2nd oldest U.S. regional federation. TexCon is open to all those who were born in, reside in, or love Texas. We are especially dedicated to developing and promoting a successful community of teams from the HT regions of Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston and Texas.


Calvert is a senior member of the [[Wing - Market & Discussion]] federation and has been named a ''Senator of the WMD''. He is also one of the senior members of the [[Barbarian_Horde_Training_Grounds|The Barbarian Horde]]. In April 2007 he became the first [[Multi skilled|multiskill]] scout for the [[Chinese Taipei|Taiwanese]] National Team and U-20 team and served until February 2008.
TexCon hosts an annual cup (currently completing its tenth season). Beginning in season 32, the winner of the TexCon XI will play in the U.S. Championship Cup.


We are also proud to be home to the defending U.S. Open Cup Champion, Mountain Kings, the two-time defending Major League Champion, Stiinta United, and to Los Guys, the most supported U.S. Team.

The Rapids are currently undefeated (8-0) in the US Country Challenges traditionally held at the end of the season. The wins have come against Hotdog Group {{Flag/EST}} (22), Haifa Sixers {{Flag/ISR}} (23), Queensland's Finest {{Flag/OCE}} (25), C.A. Tense {{Flag/URU}} (26), Sept {{Flag/FRA}} (27), Borgs Utd {{Flag/CZE}} (28), Shine of Metal {{Flag/TUR}} (29) and DP Tapitas {{Flag/COL}} (30). The team did not participate in the Season 24 and 32 challenges against Mexico nor in the Season 31 challenge against England due to hostile commentary by the US mods and GMs. There was no challenge in Season 33 despite an offer from Slovenia nor was there one in Season 34.

Texas Consortium

Texas Consortium (TexCon) (AllianceID: 2974)

The Texas Consortium is the largest and 2nd oldest U.S. regional federation. TexCon is open to all those who were born in, reside in, or love Texas. We are especially dedicated to developing and promoting a successful community of teams from the HT regions of Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston and Texas.

TexCon hosts an annual cup (currently completing its tenth season). Beginning in season 32, the winner of the TexCon XI will play in the U.S. Championship Cup.

We are also proud to be home to the defending U.S. Open Cup Champion, Mountain Kings, the two-time defending Major League Champion, Stiinta United, and to Los Guys, the most supported U.S. Team.
