Alberto Granado started his career as a striker at Ícaro FC (Brasil), after that he was transferred to FC Miepie where he played a while untill his transfer to Frietboer Centraal. At this club he became one of the favourite players of the team. During his career he scored 54 compatitive goals and got a four star rating in a friendly match against Sahabiye United.
After a few seasons at Frietboer Centraal, at age 35 he quit as a striker and became the new trainer/coach. He started as trainer in division VIII.422 and after 5 seasons he and the team promoted to VII.96 after winning the title.
