The inaugural California Friendly Cup was held in Season 39.
Participants
Despite the large number of users in the California Region, only 6 teams registered for the first California Friendly Cup, including the first international entrant, 1896 Lyn (En Pryd For By'n).
The six teams were placed in a single group, which due to time constraints played the first 4 rounds of a 5 round group stage. The top four ranked teams after the group stage would advance to the Semi-final round.
