The Aquabats

Name

The Aquabats are inspired by an American Rock/Ska band from Orange Country sharing the same name[1] Running around on stage doing all kinds of heroïc deeds. The Aquabats on Hattrick too are performing heroïc deeds.

Manager

The Aquabats are managed by De_Vrolijke_Molenaar[2], which is the name of a song from a dutch band called the kift. This manager is from holland himself and started playing at Christmas 2008.

The Coach

The Current Coach goes by the name Jesús Abascal. after a year of being a central midfielder and usually the captain, he decided to take a course for Coaching. Both in spain and dutch. The coach before him was Alfonso Diaz.

The Team

The Aquabats are quite a defending team. Youngsters train Defending during all the matches. supported by experienced midfielders(Jesus Abascal is one of them) and Forwards. The current selection of players(2-4-2010) is

Goalies:

• Chris Mocarski[3]

This Ancient Goalie from England entered the Aquabats team 26 februari 2010 due injuries of the other goalies

• Folkert Jan Wagemaker[4]

He was once the first goalie of the Aquabats. Also from holland keeping it cheap. He joined the Aquabats on 3 June 2009

• Marlon Francella[5]

With the change to an offensive coach, a better goalie was needed. This was found in Marlon from Argentina. He joined the Aquabats on 7 Octobre 2009. Usually in the Base 11

Defenders

• Gehrt Daunke[6]

This german smileyface joined the Aquabats to get good at Defending. At 4 februari 2010 he joined these heroes and quickly got a place in the Base 11

• Roar Barnoë[7]

A Young talent from Denmark. Just 17 and he joined the squad. He got Excellent at the age of 17 and 19 days. A real Viking. he joined the Aquabats at 28 Octobre 2009 and plays in the Base 11.

• Alexei Chibirev[8]

This youngster from Latvija is... just a youngster. He is a defender, there isn't much to say about that. Joined 10 november 2010

• Chris Pach[9]

One from the youth academy. Got the passing to match and has a bright future. Got the upper edge from Maurice Sepp. He left the youth squad 2 januari 2010.

• Harepeka Blair[10]

A true Aborigional. Likes putting on face paint and scares off any forwards. Joined 25 juli 2010 and plays with the Base 11.

• Ignatio Pastor León[11]

Started out as a Midfielder but found his true potential with the aquabats. Joined 25 juli 2010, just like Harepeka and plays with the Base 11.

• Nizammeddin Ulukmanov[12]

Still possible U-20 player from Turkmenistan. Was expensive, hope it's worth it. Joined 11 januari 2010.

• Ruslan Pishchalnikov[13]

This russian is an exact copy from Real Life friend Florian Groenendijk. long, can do a header. Joined 21 Novembre 2009. Usually plays in base 11

• Sebastián Winter[14]

The older ones, actual midfielders but here to train to OCV. Straight from Chile, arrived on 21 march 2010.

• Steijn van Duiven[15]

This dutchman is also a future OCV. Joined 6 march 2010.

Midfielders

• Arthur Werczynski[16]

A substitue player from poland, joined 20 juni 2009

• Jannik Trede[17]

German centerfielder. Usually play with 1 or 2 centers. This is the first pick, thou he is allready 30+. Joined 4 september 2009

• Jesús Abascal[18]

Coach but plays midfield too! This spanish keg of joy joined us 29 june 2009. Also first player who costed more then 150k.

Wingers

• Fred Skidmore[19]

Costa Rica born, spend most of his life in Brazil. joined the Aquabats 3 januari 2010 and plays in the Base 11.

• Jacob Weggemans[20]

This dutchman was needed to fill in a hole in my 2nd team. joined 29 september 2009.

• Kister Johansson[21]

Swedish metalhead, also plays midfield. joined 12 september 2009 and plays in the Base 11.

Forwards

• Benito Agnelli[22]

Italian legend. Plays in the B squad. Joined 6 march 2009. Is the longest stayer in my team.

• Ewald Klaas[23]

During injuries, this german was pulled to put up the offence during a match against The Intruders. Joined 19 februari 2010.

• Lembitu Aasa[24]

This Estonian has only one mission, shoot in the free kicks. Joined 17 september 2009

• Ryszark Orlik[25]

5 stars, it sais it all. The first one to reach the magical 5 stars. Formidable Scoring and Good Passing combined with Brilliant Experience he is the attack maker. Joined 20 december 2010.

Rivalties

The aquabats got only 2 real rivals so far

Acheivements

• Season 26

Just a new team at the end of this season, ended 3rd in the X.347

• Season 27

2nd in the X.347 just behind the deserved winner, The Uppies[28], who are due to promote in season 29 and 30.

• Season 28

Also 2nd. Bad luck against newcomer Matrix Effect costed the championship in the X.347

• Season 29

Finally promotion to IX.1961, 1st without any defeats.

• Season 30

Peace of cake. With no losses and only 1 draw, this is a guaranteed promotion.
