Jemu także jako jedynemu szkoleniowcowi w historii angielskiej ekstraklasy udało się przejść cały sezon bez porażki (sezon 2003/04). Dzięki sukcesom jakie osiągał z Arsenalem, a wcześniej z Monaco, Wenger uważany jest za jednego z najlepszych menadżerów na świecie.
