First steps
If you're new to MediaWiki and don't just know how to set up tables, how to align pictures, how to fill your user page with kitties... just go here:

If your English is not well enough for this or you just get a headache:
Go to your local Wikipedia, and look up the page called Help. (Yes, "Help". They will have translated it, but "Help" even works on the Russian wikipedia, the Chinese, ...) Keep in mind that they have add-ons that supply programming essentials and add-ons that do crazy stuff. Some of those add-ons may miss here; if something just doesn't work even with copy&paste contact a responsible.
But most of the stuff under "Help" will work here.
