Memorable Moments

Perhaps the game that defines the club the most was the Season 15th finale game against the up and coming il Grande Capitano. Going to the final game, the two teams were tied with 37 points each. They had tied the season opener 3-3. The biggest crowd ever recorded in Agha Petros stadium attended to watch the game (over 89,000.) At the 21st minute, AA were set back when its star winger Boris Veljanovski got injured in the play. His replacement was the rookie Saad Ahmad, who already impressed the coaches with having scored 7 goals as a wing back. Prior to this game however, Ahmad had never played the winger position. With the tied at 2-2, Said Ahmad scored the most remarkable goal at the 86th minute to give AA the lead, the win, and ultimately the Season 14 Championship.
