OddDownFC was founded on a sunny day in june 2005. The club started of in league VI.490, and in their first season they ended up in seventh place of the league. The local hero Sir Eric Bjørnstad was appointed manager of the club, and is extremly popular among the fans.

Odd Down is playing their home games on OddDownFC Arena. The stadium is located on the east side of the Porsgrunn river. The capasity of the stadium is 12500, but there are plans for an extension in the near future.
