Summary
CVP stands for Culemborgse Voetbal Ploeg. It was founded halfway through February 2002 in the Netherlands by manager Broodrooster82 who later changed his name to Casartelli.
After playing in IV.12 for two seasons they promoted to III.13. They became III.13 champions in their debut season which promoted them to II.3. After 7 seasons at II.3 they were relegated to III.1
After the relegation, the team rebought former youth player and U-20 star Kornel ten Berge and was banned for Hattrick due to paying to much for him.
CVP made a comback in october 2012 and is since than named "CVP '02". Even though they moved to the city of Arnhem. The club's name remained unchanged. Stadium
"Castellum" referes to the roman word for "fortress". The stadium had over 89 thousand places in the first era. After CVP disappeared, the stadium was rebuild to 12.000 places.
After the comeback, the stadium expanded again. From 15.000 early 2013 to nearly 30.000 a year later.
