Overview
Brook Street Athletic is a football club which currently plays in the third tier of the Hattrick Scottish League and is based in the Angus town of [Monifieth]. The club was officially founded on 09 July 2006 in neighbouring Broughty Ferry, Dundee, but from the outset it was always the intention that Brook Street would be based in the Angus town.
The club entered the fifth tier of the Hattrick Scottish League and played their first competitive game on 15 July 2006 when they crashed to a 5-1 defeat at league leaders Sheeps Eleven, Aitcheson MacNeish becoming the first player to score for the club.
