HTUM Youth Series

The HTUM Youth Series is currently in its seventeenth season already. It originally started with only two divisions, but has since expanded to four divisions. The fourth division was initially launched as a youth league dedicated to the youth academies of platinum teams only, however after three seasons it was fully integrated at the fourth level of the HTUM Youth Series pyramid. The three seasons were all won by The Arrows of Sekhmet and are included in the list below.

HTUM Youth Cup

Every three weeks teams from Youth Academies can play a friendly match. This gives extra training to the players. Rather than search for opponents for these games it was thought that a cup competition could fit with this arrangement. That was the idea that I passed to Horus in early 2012. His analytical mind went to work! The first problem was that every team taking part would have to be in sync. In other words, their friendly week had to coincide. This meant that some teams had to miss a few friendly games before they could be matched in the system.

Eventually Horus was able to create a best of three play off system every third week for Youth teams of HTUM Fed members. The first games of the HTUM Youth Cup were played in October 2012. New teams join every season and Horus keeps everyone right by publishing the fixture list every three weeks and producing all the statistics for everyone to see.
