Training Notes

The porpuse of this section is to catalog training notes by type. There are basically fives types of training notes:

• Aniversary notes
• Skill pop-up notes
• Talent Seach notes
• Behaviour notes
• Training problem notes
• Unusually good game notes

Aniversary notes

A aniversary note means that the player have his birthday in the week of training:

Examples:

• player_name had his birthday this week, and his mother came over with a really tasty birthday cake for the clubhouse. What a nice gesture.
• player_name wanted me to ask you if he could have a senior team contract for his birthday. I'm not sure if he was being serious or whether he was trying to make me look silly.
• On a sidenote, it was player_name's birthday this week. Time sure flies.

Skill pop-up notes

You receive a skill pop-up note from a player that pop a single skill. For instance, if a player pops from weak to inadequate, a training note is received.

Examples:

• player_name is improving his Playmaking ability, I think the current training regime is worthwhile

in his case.

• player_name is improving his Passing ability, I think the current training regime is worthwhile in his case.
• player_name is an ambitious young boy, and I'm happy to say it is paying off. Especially with his Playmaking ability, which has improved with training.
• This week I can report that several players have improved their capabilities through training. A special mention for player_name, who has worked well on his Passing skills.

Talent search notes

A talent search note is produced when you find a suitable training position for your player, or if the player's position is not adequate to his skills prospects.

Examples:

• I'm starting to realize that player_name is a diamond in the rough! Train him well and he will be your most valuable young player.
• Try to find the right spot on the team for player_name, there is a lot of football in that kid.
• Some good news about player_name, he is responding well to the Passing training sessions.
• player_name has responded well to the Playmaking sessions we have organized this week. It's good to know our work has had an effect.
• Don't change the Playmaking training for player_name, it sure seems to be paying off at the moment!

Behaviour notes

A Behaviour note normally is about a specific problem or player caracteristic. A very nervous or calm player can produce a Behaviour notes. Sometimes, specialties can be revealed by Behaviour notes.

Examples:

• player_name has a very long fuse, never really gets in a fight.
• player_name has a very rough attitude, both on and off the pitch. That could get him into trouble.

Training problem notes

A training problem notes normally means that a player cannot receive your actual training, or another training is more suitable.

Examples:

• When I see player_name on the practice ground, I can't shake the feeling that he really wants to train Keeper/Winger/Scoring/Passing/Defending/Playmakinginstead.
• The current training is not the optimal one for Fernando Nuñez, what he really needs is to practice Keeper/Winger/Scoring/Passing/Defending/Playmaking.
• It's always OK for a player to hone multiple skills, but in the case of player_name it's obvious that a focus on Keeper/Winger/Scoring/Passing/Defending/Playmaking sessions would be very productive.
• Feel free to let your boys try different positions, but I really think you should try giving player_name some Keeper/Winger/Scoring/Passing/Defending/Playmaking training, too.

Unusually good game notes

A unusually good game note is produced every time player's performance on a specific game is better for no specific reasons:

Examples:

• I'm sure you noticed that player_name had an unusually good game this week. Let's hope he can learn how to play more consistently at that level.
• I liked the way player_name gave his everything in our last game. I hope to see him like that again sometime soon.
• Did you see player_name in this week's game? He did really well, given his capacity.
• player_name had a charmed game this week, I haven't seen him play that well before.
• player_name had a great game this week, don't forget to mention that to him.
