Spartans! has yet to win any trophies of note (they currently languish in VII.829), but the club has still managed to make its mark in the lower reaches of the Hattrick-community. This is in no small way due to its Chairman Humpty Hayward and his liberal view of player-consumption of alcohol.

Chairman Hayward notes:”Well, some might say that building a pub in the player’s dressing room was a bad idea from a traditional non-alcoholic, "Water wagon", Communist-pinko-viewpoint. I however feel that it has enabled our players to perform more freely in the second halves of our games...that is, the ones they show up for. CHEERS!"
