Tobinov was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa. He lives with his lovely wife, and cat Orwell, in Tacoma, Washington.

Outside of Hattrick, Tobinov enjoys art, books, bicycles, movies, music, politics, travel, and, naturally, football!
He played goalkeeper for an O30 team in Olympia, WA but an ankle injury suffered in September 2010 has effectively ended competitive play.
Professionally, Tobinov works for a regional non-profit arts organization in development.
Hattrick
tobinov joined HT in November of 2004 and has been a dedicated player ever since. He served as Global Editor for the Hattrick Press from 2009-2011 as well as being the regional Editor for the USA, Barbados, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago.
