The Academy of Football League was formed in season 1 of the youth team creation, more than likely known as season 33 in the USA senior team season.

Finishing up the third season, there is currently 8 teams in the league, with 7 of the teams being original members. The first season saw 12 teams competing for the inaugural championship, with North Aurora Athletic Club Jr's., other wise known as NAAC Jr's., taking home that very first championship.

The second season saw the league shrink down from 12 temas to 8. 5 teams left, so there was one opening.
