History
VV Scots was founded at 12 May 2008 by manager Stamps, it started with some good players like Jeffrey Steers (202336370) and Rinus Heersema (202336376). But the first week was quite revolutionary: Eliáš Nesnídal (94015156) took the place as coach, Bouko Poels was fired directly. In the same week also some players were bought, like Schietecatte (202043995) and Gabriel Omar Fitipaldis (179985480). Also the youthsquad Salt 1990 was founded that week and a friendly was arranged against the Dutch team DeNolios. The match was scheduled at 14 May 2008, the first match in the history of Salt. Against DeNolios the coach started with two Argentinian midfielders making their debut: Fitipaldis and Hamkalo. The coach started with the following eleven: Povh; Fokkens, Jadot, Steers, Van Den Hout; Schietecatte, Fitipaldis, Hamkalo, Witsen; Ponce and Heersema. The match started difficult for coach Nesnídal with losing goalkeeper Povh (195592240) within' half an hour with an injury. DeNolios then grabbed their advantage and scored two goals before the break. The fast goal of Jeroen Witsen (202262847) after the break gave Salt some hope, but some minutes later a penalty decided the match. Another goal of Jeffrey Steers couldn't change the match. DeNolios ended the match in a strong gear with another two goals, putting the score on 5-2. It pushed manager Stamps to the following words: 'This loss gives as much extra homework.' The same evening the club signed Micha Wielinga (202319961) and having a contract for Hessel Stam (164409941), who signed it the morning after.
First match of Salt
Some days later, at Sunday 18 May 2008, Salt played their first leaguematch at home. They lost 1-3 versus FC Real Veerman United, but Salt was much better then earlier that week versus DeNolios. Main reason of losing was a red card for midfielder Nunzio Spada (198214722). The same week also FC Muts was too strong for Salt in a friendly. But one day later the youthsquad brought some satisfaction by ending it's first match in a 1-1 draw against FC Kieteleer, Korstiaan Kruger (36080613) scored the only goal. The upcoming leaguematch they again lost, the match against Stolwijk ended in a 3-2 loss. The last match, against Sylter, was now decisive for relegation. And then the club finally won their match under pressure, against Sylter the match ended in a 5-2 win at 'T Vaatje. The club stayed in the IX.649 for another season. The goals were scored by Hamkalo (195890056), Villanova (197286915), Steers, Corradino (202070124) and Stam.

The next season came, another one in the IX.649 with four new teams. In the preparation on the new season Jeroen Witsen was sold for 51000 Euros, he was bought some weeks earlier for only 2000 Euros. With the new incoming money the club purchased defender Stefano Beghi (182036781) and winger Patrizio Ballerini (154983619) for the upcoming season. The first friendly match of the season ended in a 2-5 win (175090022) with goals from Villanova (2), Cardona, Schietecatte and Stam. Then the first leaguematch of this season was won at Sunday 21 June, against Marinho Dancers the match (184559701) was won with 1-2 with goals by Bozkurt and Ballerini. The next leaguematch, after a 0-4 loss (186503726) in a friendly against v.v. Hellevoetsluis, was lost with 2-3 against FC Flop (184559703). A week later an important victory followed, the 6-1 win against Team Stolwijk (184559708) was a perfect stage for the Italian strikers Corradino and Cardona. They both scored three times, which means two hattricks.
