Well, with the new avatar editing options (happy or angry, or being able to change skin and hair color) having just been introduced, I can't help wondering if this accounts for all the editing options the HTs promised a while ago, or new options will still be introduced at some time.

I think it's safe to say that you'll see new/more options introduced at some point. I don't know yet when that will be, but I'm sure it will happen.
