The first Hattrick Masters, played in February 2006, ended up with the victory of a team from France - FC Barentin. Due to the financial problems which came with the buying of the squad of the Masters, this team does not exist any more.

The final was played on 02-23-2006 at La Fortaleza Stadium, Ecuador. 80000 visitors saw a match, absolutelly dominated by the French team. The opponent, Skou United from Danmark, had no chance. With a 5-0, FC Barentin could take the victory back home.

Winner of Hattrick Masters II (06/2006) : The Insane Estonia

In the middle of June the second Hattrick Masters took place, the final was played on the 15th of June. The place of the game was Tweede Kamer-Stadium in the Netherlands and the incredible number of 149.988 spectators came to see the final. The opponents were "I L.S.F." from Russia (St. Petersburg) on one side and on the other side was the team of "The Insane", comming from Estonia. No team had a real advantage in the game, even the loser from Russia had a little more posession of the ball - but it did not help them. Two goals, one in the 25nd minute and the decision in the last minute made the 2-0 win for The Insane.

Winner Hattrick Masters III (10/2006) : Alberto Garcia Guatemala

65504 came to see the third final between Alberto Garcia (from Guatemala) and Fc Pärtna (from Estonia). The audience was very disappointing, the stadium was just filled a third. The crowd looked very lost in the huge stadium, which is placed in the north of Germany.

The article about the third Masters, written by Staleno:

The Final

To be perfectly honest this was a disappointing final in my opinion. As both managers were unable to log in and set the lineup before the match, the game was pretty much decided even before it started. And only 65504 spectators bothered to show up in the huge Holstein Stadion in Germany to see Alberto Garcia from Guatemala crush FC Pärtna 4-0. Joshua Duilach scored the last goal and became the top scorer of the tournament with 10 goals. But his talent will probably go down the drain together with his club.

The final between the two ghost teams was the cause of a heated debate on the conferences though. For the third time in a row the winner of the Masters loses his team. Should it have to be necessary to sacrifice your team to win the Masters? Some people, like aglopez (the manager of Alberto Garcia) clearly think so, but most people disagree.

The question remains; when will we see the first team that survives after winning the Hattrick Masters? I’m confident it will happen eventually, and hopefully it will happen already next season. I plan to stick around to see, and I hope you will too! Thank you for staying with me through the tournament. I also want to thank the HT-team for giving me the opportunity to bring the Masters out to all of you.
