After discussion with Lucaxvi I open this discussion to ask:

  • Do you think that "link" is a good option for this template?
  • Don't you think we should add an option "if:" to specify dimension and frame of the cup image?

If it can't be done on this template I will create a new copy version because I need this kind of option and I think it would be useful for everyone. --Para Para 2012-09-02

I agree about the option to specify dimension, but I don't agree about the link because I think that it appears better without hipertext link.

I don't see the point of linking to the image itself either. The only place where it could be useful is the Prize shelf page, but I guess I'll just remove the templates there and put direct links to the images. ZF-Nightwish 09:00, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

My idea of change is template:

[[Image:National Cup.PNG{{#if:{{{1|}}}|{{!}}{{{1}}}px|}}{{#if:{{{size|}}}|{{!}}{{{size}}}px|}}{{#if:{{{style|}}}|{{!}}{{{style}}}|}}{{#if:{{{text|}}}|{{!}}{{{text}}}|}}]]
usage:
- writing {{Cup|22|style=frame|text=Champion season 49}}
it gives a cup of size 22 (smaller, useful in tables) with a frame style (maybe is useless, but is an option...) and when you go with mouse over picture it gives "Champion season 49".
- writing: {{Cup}}
it gives the old normal version of cup. --Para Para 2012-09-02
Looks OK, the only problem I had with it, was that if you clicked it you ended up on the cup-image page. So if you make it unclickable.. perfect :) ZF-Nightwish 07:44, 3 September 2012 (UTC)

Now it is unclickable, and works fine...

{{cup}} {{cup|size=29|style=center|text=Season 49}} {{cup|style=center|text=Season 49}} but frame and thumb they reactivate the original link (as specified in mediawiki manual) and I didn't find out a good way to kill it.
