Introduction

The Doha Bedouins is a footballclub from Doha, the capital of Qatar, with around 1,9 milion inhabitants. It is part of the province Ad Dawhah, one of the 10 provinces of the Netherlands.

The name Doha Bedouins is choosen because of the city where this club is founded, together with the history that the bedouins have within this country.

Manager glsouisa took over the club from 27-05-2013 and is managing the club up till now. By his hand the club hopes to achieve fantastic sporty results and the expand of the Prize Shelf!

The traditional colors of the club are purple and white the coulours of the Qatar flag.

The colors of the club logo and kit's confirm this. Also in the stadium named the Moedjahedien Arena, with a capacity of 12,000 places, the colors come back. The hard core supporters of DB, also known as the "DB Warriors" are very dedicated to their club.

History

On 09-01-2009 FC Molo Oekoe was formed. Currently the team plays in the fifth division (V.176) and the club is working on his 16th season in professional football.

Division Division Information
IX.937 The team began in the IX.937 and ended the season on the sixth position. This was a transition season for the coach and his men. Fortunately it went better and then the season after the club finished second.
VIII.306 Finishing second was also a promotion to a higher division (VIII.306).

The next 2 seasons were meant for building the team. The team ended thirth and second those seasons. The fifth season was the best result ever: only one draw game of the fourteen which resultet in the championship: direct promotion! Rui Pedro Damião crowned himselves to local hero by scoring nine times, which was even not enough to win the top scorer title.

VII.47 Unfortunately after one season in VII.47 it went downhill and then the season after the club finished seventh.

Due to that position, the club had to return to the eighth division.

VIII.1448 After 3 seasons in (VIII.1448), FCMO did not reached further then 3th place.

To ease the pain a bit Stanislaw Wtorkowski crowned himself as league topscorer in s34 with 15 goals.

VIII.1465 Before the start of s35 FC Molo Oekoe decided to move to (VIII.1465) and the club had the main goal to aim for the title.

FCMO succeded in winning the title with 12 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. Stanislaw Wtorkowski again crowned himself as league topscorer in s35 with a new personal record of 18 goals.

VII.63 In s36 FC Molo Oekoe planned to survive in VII.63, but instead of surviving they became one of the favorites for winning the title this season.

At the end of the competition FCMO ended as runner-up, which means promotion to the VIth class. During this season the capacity of the Alifoeroe Arena was increased from 32k into 37k seats.

VI.410 In s37 FCMO had entered VI.410, which is a very tough competition. FCMO managed to gain enough points to prevent relegation by finishing 2nd! For the comming season s38, FCMO is trying to make the team stronger to make sure that the 2nd place in VI.410 was not an accident.

A change of the trainer should lead into new progression of the selection. Also the Alifoeroe Arena's capacity was increased from 37k into 42k seats. At the end of s38 FCMO again ended 2nd. In s39 we had a full competition without bot teams. In this season FCMO managed to become champion.

V.176 In s40 FCMO will compete in class V.176. The main goals was to prevent relegation, but up till the last match they could have been champions. But FCMO throwed the championship away in the last to matches and became 2nd in the competition. Not a bad result at all!

During s41 FCMO started with a second team in Qatar. For now this team is named FC Molo Oekoe II, but after this season the name will be changed into Doha Bedouins.
