The Riverpool Athletic Club is football team from Corrientes, in Argentina. The club was founded the 9 of january on 2014 and they joined in the Seventh Division of Argentina. They only played one season in it and the Riverpool won the second positión and get the promotion to the Sixth Division where is the actually league of the team.
History
Foundation
The club was founded el 9 of January de 2014 in the season 54, after several proposals, they decided to call "Riverpool Athletic Club" and in the same day they sign the founded document and -Valverde was elected for the first president in the club and principal founder of it. The most of the founders where descendents from Spanish people, and a minority was descendent from British people.
First Seasons
The club joined in the Argentinian Federation of Hattrick and was part of the of the national league system entering the last national division, the Seventh Division of Argentina,in that division the team won the second place and gets the promotion to the Sixth División
In Sixth División, the Riverpool could keep the category obtaining the fifth position forcing the team to play the playoffs relegation versus Granadero Baigorria F.C. The match was played on the 27 of August in 2014 and the match ended with a victory 6-0 of Riverpool with the great participation of Iñigo Demaría who scores four goals in only 10 minutes and he was the key for the victory.
The Riverpool will play the second season in the Sixth División but this time with the new coach Carlos Ángel Whebe who an ex-player from the team and who plays in the theam that won the promotion to Sixth División.

Uniform
The T-Shirt of Riverpool is one of the most importants symbols of the team, the T-Shirt was elected the same day when the team join in the Argentinian Federation of Hattrick and the shirt never changed. The alternative T-Shirt was black the first season, but with the promotion to Sixth División the president changed the black colour to red. The new t-shirt colour significate the blood and attitude of the players who won the first promotion.
Logo
Like in many soccer T-Shirts of football, the Riverpool has the existence of a shield in it and its a very important symbol of the institution. In the actuallity Riverpool has the logo of the team in the left side, the fans call the name "side of heart"
