A "clown" is a popular guy that has solid leadership.

There is a general belief that a "clown" will help (more or less) maintaining the team spirit. However, no solid proof on their influence has been found so far.

Some users feel that searching and acquiring clowns is a waste of time and HT-money, such as Laurghita (also known as The Clown Slayer), manager of the team Mormoetii, who buys clowns and immediately fires them.
