Vendat Variar (336391450) was a indian foward who played for Alexandria ad Aegyptum, one of the icons of the club, was nicknamed "The Warrior".

"Venkat 'Warrior' Variar was faithful to the HTUM fed all his career. Moving from India's Langer House first to Poland and onwards to Denmark, he spent the longest stretch of his playing time in Egypt, scoring goals by the dozen. He managed 130 goals in 207 official games, and 97 goals in 169 friendly games for the team, which he captained 60 (24+36) times. He was also voted MotM 109 (57+52) times. Towards the end of his career he succesfully coached the club for 12 months in 2016-2017."
