Fritz van Gool is a professional football player from FC Winkelwagentje. In January 2006 van Gool was transferred from DBA Vooruit for a transfersum of €50.000. Van Gool immediately became the first choice for the position of goalkeeper. In his first season for FC Winkelwagentje he played 13 matches. Unfortunately he had an unlucky start and he relegated conceding 36 goals in the clubs worst season on record.
In season 18 van Gool and his teammates took revenge by securing promotion through a first place in division VIII. Van Gool became very popular with the fans.
Van Gool's last match was on 01-10-2008 against Frietboer Centraal where he played the full 90 minutes.
