Een vlotte zege voor de thuisploeg tegen een veroordeeld VV Scots. Het was overduidelijk dat MONTANA ARMY een aantal divisies hoger speelt en professioneel genoeg was om VV Scots niet tot nauwelijks aan voetballen liet overgaan.
Wij wensen MONTANA ARMY veel succes in de dR cup 3 en kijken al uit naar de volgende wedstrijd tegen F.C.Zwamdam die op papier veel beter is. Misschien kunnen we voor een stunt zorgen!

VV Scots is een Nederlands team, met Osakat als manager. VV Scots speelt momenteel in de X.2947 divisie. Alle thuiswedstrijden worden gespeeld in Headvillage Arena te Amsterdam.

Historie

Voor den beginne
Nadat in 1840 wordt begonnen met het droogmaken van de Haarlemmermeerpolder en men er in 1852 met droge voeten kan lopen, volgen veel jaren van geploeter, hard werken en ellende. In 1912 worden twee spoorlijnen geopend en in 1917 volgt de opening van militair vliegveld Schiphol. Naast het harde werken in vooral de agrarische sector houden de Haarlemmermeerse bewoners zich in hun spaarzame vrije tijd bezig met de paarden met harddraverijen en schaatsen op de vele dichtgevroren slootjes en vaarten.
In 1968 ziet "VV Hoofddorp" het licht en speelt haar zaterdagse wedstrijden tegen Victoria, Aalsmeer, E.D.O., Victoria, D.W.S., vv Sparta uit Leimuiden. Nog niet in competitieverband. In 1970 sluit V.V.H. zich aan bij de Haarlemse Voetbal Bond en moet zondags gaan spelen zeer tegen de zin van de bestuurderen van die tijd, die de club oogluikend laat spelen op een stuk land ‘uit de bebouwde kom en 200 meter van de openbare weg’.

De fanclub "Scottish People" had een oorsprong van 108 leden. De fanclub was als eerste te zien bij de wedstrijd tegen Milan A.C. in Frankrijk. Helaas werd VV Scots toen verslagen met 3-1, maar door het heerlijke zonnige weer wisten we er toch een feest van te maken.
