Splinter was the manager of Koninklijke Beringen Heusden-Zolder SK.
This team became national champion in season 8 and won the Belgium Cup in season 7.
Splinter has quit hattrick in March 2006.
In June 2009 however he started again with a team called Sint-Petrus.
