New Tips Moved
We've moved Newbie Tips to a new category page. For issues the redirect tag, see below.
Now it will be possible for various tips/tutorials to be created and given the Newbie Tips category tag. Septimusjm 17:10, 30 November 2005 (UTC)

For some reason if you redirect from this page to the category:Newbie Tips page, the new page doesn't show the articles under the category "Newbie Tips." The solution we've come up with, for now, is to just provide a direct link to the category page, in which case everything works fine. Please note the redirect tag DOES NOT work when redirecting to categories. There is a known wiki bug in this case. See link above for more information.

These "Ten principles" should probably be a category under "Newbie Tips." That way other types of newbie tips can also be added to this page.
