The national team players
In 2004 the club manager Andreas was bored with game and decided to sell the whole team out. This collected about 50 million euro to the club. For the money he bought one midfielder (Lars Lundthorp) and one forward (Peter Martinsson), playing in the Swedish national team, and the existing goalkeeper (Olof Morgansson) of the Swedish U-20 national team. At this time the Swedish national teams were outstanding, and Burvik BK thus contributed with the most players to these dream teams. This stupid idea was of course very unpopular among the national team managers, and was quickly abandoned.
Modern times
The team fell into lethargy for many years, but is now restarting. The club are now in for it for real, and are aiming to reach the top. There is a lot of work to do, and it will take many seasons, but manager Andreas believes that all the experience from 13 years of playing might be a factor strong enough to make it.
