Jes Steinicke, often called "Kniksen" or "Mr. Brann", is a homegrown player from SK Brann. He has always stood out as a natural leader out at the field, and have remained the captain for the first team since his debut. At the moment, Steinicke is one of the most experienced players in the squad.
Early life
Born in Harstad, Troms, Steinicke started out playing for his hometown team SK Brann U18, where he was later noticed by the senior scouts of SK Brann. He later joined the senior squad at the age of seventeen. His senior debut came in the 6-2 win against Stord the 15th of April 2009 (221177811).
Professional career
