Gulf Cup

Gulf Cup is a friendly cup for the 8 Gulf national teams in Hattrick. Oman, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Yeman, Bahrain, and Qatar are the eight countries that can have one team each playing in this cup.

The Hattrick Gulf Cup is organized by Assim.

The Gulf Cup will be played every 2 season on the first 5 weeks of the second season after the coaches gets elected.

Draw

The draw depends on the ranking points of the 8 teams in the season where the teams played the World Cup qualifications. The teams will be put into 4 pots where the host and the cup holder are going to be in Pot 1, and if the cup holder was the host, then the highest rank team will be put into Pot 1. After that, according to the ranking points, all the teams will be put in Pot 2, Pot 3, and Pot 4 accordingly.

From Pot A, the host will be in Group A, and the second team from Pot A will go to Group B. As for Pot 2, Pot 3, and Pot 4, we will make a draw to see which one from each pot will go to Group A or B.

Matches

When all 8 teams accept the invitation to play in the Gulf Cup, then 8 teams will be divided intp 2 groups with 4 teams in each group. Each team will play with each other once and the top 2 teams of each group qualify to the semi-final.

Stadiums

We will choose 10 stadiums from the host country if there was 8 teams participating. The host country will play all it's 3 group stage matches in the biggest stadium. As for the other matches of the group stage of both groups, each match will be in one stadium. In the semi-final, the biggest stadium will host the first semi-final, and the second biggest stadium will host the second semi-final. As for the final, the biggest stadium will host it.

There will be a new host every two seasons for this. We will go in this order:
