Lazio, called Latium in English, is the most populated region in central part of Italia, reaching almost 5.6 millions inhabitants. It is notable for its history, art, architecture, archaeology, religion, and culture. The capital is Roma, which is also the capital of Italy, while other main towns are Latina, Viterbo, Frosinone and Rieti.
