The training type defensive positions trains the defending skill for central defenders, wingbacks, inner midfielders, wingers and goalkeepers. This training type is not very popular at about 1% of all people. Note that defending training also trains the skill, for less people but at a faster rate.

Pros

  • Potentially able to train 22 players per week, using the 5-5-0 formation.
  • Can play 5-4-1 and 4-5-1 and thus train 20 players per week.

Cons

  • It takes much longer for players to increase defensive skill than if using Defending training.
