Mostly known for his national teams experience.
On 04.04.2007 he was elected coach of the Romania National Team team for World Cup X.
On 24.06.2008 he was elected coach of the Romania National Team team for World Cup XI.
On 26.05.2009 he was elected coach of the Moldova U-20 team for U-20 World Cup XIII.
